LazadaPH: Experience Hassle-Free Payment at the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall

Haven’t you noticed how obsessed we have become with the internet? The whole world just can’t seem to get off the internet these days. I’m sure you will agree it has brought on a new level of convenience we never thought possible. Among the many things we can do online are shopping, paying bills, communicating, and work! It is so amazing how far the world has come. Speaking of online shopping, I have been doing mine recently at Lazada Philippines and I couldn’t be any happier. I had to laugh at the irony of who introduced me to it – my husband, of all people! He hates shopping and would only be interested if we are looking at gadgets and appliances. You may be wondering how this online mall fits into the picture, right? Well, according to hubby, they have a very good selection of gadgets and electronics online. Plus, the cheapskate in him couldn’t resist the really awesome promos the site runs on a regular basis.

What I Like About You

One of the many things I like the most about this site is how they make it so easy and simple for us to shop and pay for our purchases without waiting in line and wasting our precious time. I was really pleased to know they offer other payment options apart from the customary credit card. While we normally pay via credit card for our online purchases, it’s still nice to know we can choose to pay either by Cash on Delivery or do online banking or over-the-counter payments. In total, they have three payment options available: Credit card, Cash on Delivery, and online banking or over-the-counter payment which is under the option called Dragon Pay.
I’m sure you already know how credit card payments work. You key in your card details and voila, the payment is processed. The joy and convenience of using a credit card just doesn’t stop there. They have managed to offer 0% instalment for purchases worth 5,000 PHP and up for BDO cardholders. This BDO promo is actually what convinced the hubby to buy some of his gadgets online. Not to be outdone is MasterCard which offers special discounts on certain days. The MasterCard promo started with MasterCard Mondays which gives cardholders 10% discount for just a minimum spend of 3,000. But lately, they have been having flash sales such as the one last month which gave a hefty 20% discount on a Sunday to MasterCard owners.
With the very clever Cash on Delivery, you wait for the items to be delivered to you before you pay! I have to say this is really a breakthrough because it used to be that online shopping is confined to those who have credit cards. Now, even people who don’t own cards or are wary of purchasing over the internet can join in on the fun.
Meanwhile, Dragon Pay gives us the flexibility to choose between paying through online banking or over-the-counter. Paying through online banking is roughly the same as paying via credit card. Both are easy and require minimal effort. With over-the-counter payments, you will need to head out to pay at their partner establishments. The good thing is they have teamed up with 7-11 stores, SM Business Centers, pawnshops, select local banks, and even remittance centers so finding an establishment near you is a cinch as these establishments are conveniently located nationwide.
