Then and Now

It’s normal to see kids spending time playing games on their tablet devices and smartphones nowadays. It suddenly led me to thinking about my childhood days, when having a lot of stationery and art materials instead of gadgets made you cool.

I remember saving some money and traveling to the nearby bookstore for scented cute stationery and bartering some of it with your friends who have bought other designs. Then, I would carefully choose which stationery to use for writing letters to my relatives when it’s their birthday (I was a kid, I didn’t have enough money to buy gifts).

This meme came to my mind, too, as I traveled to memory lane in my mind:
How about you guys? Do you still remember the good ol’ 90s stationery fad?

Meet My Makeup Tutor

It was fairly recent when I got interested in makeup. At first, my only goal was to make myself more presentable and to avoid having the need for others to apply it for me. It was hard to get my desired look from them and I didn’t want to offend anyone by saying that I didn’t like what they did.

The Internet was my school and learned a lot from articles and videos. My favorite makeup artist/guru is Wayne a.k.a Gossmakeupartist.

Here are a couple of his helpful videos:

Ice - The New Hype On Watches

Ice, I have heard of this brand for quite some time now and stumbled upon its stall in SM Megamall recently. I was curious about their watches and some of them did look nice. I asked the saleslady where the brand came from. She told me it was Swiss-designed but Japanese-made (Movement).

The price range is quite affordable compared to other watch brands but they do offer some steeply-priced watches as well (as counterpart of other brands’ perhaps?).

I am already happy with my simple Anne Klein (black), and Guess (brown), and non-brand (light blue) watches but Ice’s Crazy in blue and Pure in Turquoise (small). I love the color and the look! Theyr’e unisex design, too, so I can lend them to my boyfriend if he wants.
If you want to know more about the brand and their products, check out the website: http://ice-watch.com/ (images came from the website, too).

“The Ice-Watch brand continues its momentum and today enters the world of Swiss watchmaking with a new collection, Ice-Swiss.
