Remember the days when we only had traditional malls whenever we want to shop? It’s true that it was exciting to visit these malls as we can roam around and have a reason get out of our houses and do something that you don’t usually do very often like shopping. In this modern digital era, we can do more than that if ever we want to shop. Surprisingly now looking back then, it can be done online. It is actually overwhelming to see that online shopping is now starting to become popular in the Philippines. A couple of years ago, online shopping was just an idea that wasn't highly regarded by local online users. It's no secret that both online and offline frauds happen at high rate in the Philippines. A lot of deals are being offered way lower than it is supposed to by group buy websites, making it harder for customers to ignore. It was only last year when website like Lazada Online Mall was launched in the Philippines. It is an online mall available in other countries of South East Asia. They are being back by Rocket Internet which is owned by Samwer brothers. Lazada made an impact in Ecommerce through their various payment methods.

With so many payment methods, each of their customers will find something that they will them best. Online malls usually only allow credit card or PayPal as the accepted form of payment in online. It actually affects the customers in avaialing what they want since they can't pay online the conventional way. Their Cash on Delivery or more known as C.O.D. where offered to local online users. This made the untapped market a reachable market audience in the Philippines. It is the majority of the local consumer market in the country. By tapping this market, it eventually helped the rise of Ecommerce in the Philippines.
