Lazada Review: The emergence of the Ecommerce industry

Ecommerce really struggled in the past, thanks to the limitation on online payment flexibility to the local online users. Limiting the local online users to shop online despite having cash on their pocket because they can't pay via online is really amusing to witness. Not giving customers online payment flexibility is a crime for online stores if you ask me. Showing up online is quickly easier than going to conventional malls when customers want to shop. It is a clear choice since not only it is convenient for them but it also saves them money, time and energy. This does not mean that online shopping doesn't have its downfall like certain requirements before transaction is pushed through unlike in offline shopping were a customer just need to bring cash.

Dating back a couple of years ago, Ecommerce was a struggling industry in the country. Once website like Lazada officially arrived in the country, it changed the Ecommerce culture in the Philippines. A lot of us may have seen their online ads at least once when we are online. Their online ads can be seen on the Top 2 websites of the world, which is Google and Facebook. It further boosted their recognition to the local online users. Flexibility in payment options allowed them to stand out among their competition. Compared to conventional malls, they pretty much offer the same including warranty and return. They just want to make sure that their customers will still get the same product coverage even if they bought it on traditional offline malls. It gives customers something to look forward to for their security when buying from them. It definitely helped them penetrate the local Ecommerce by offering great product coverage and flexible options.

Unlike traditional malls who barely offer discounts or promos, online malls offer it almost every time. In my own opinion, they managed to be the top choice of customers due to their flexible payment options. Besides the conventional online payments like credit cards and PayPal accounts, they first introduced Cash on Delivery as an alternative payment option. With this, it allowed anyone to become his or her customers even if one cannot pay for it the conventional way. This is very helpful for online customers who are unable to pay online conventionally and can now shop on their mall. Customers who opt for Cash on Delivery can directly go to the website to order and will only need to leave their shipment address and name.

Orders to be processed takes only about two to five days before the customer's receives their order package. Customers will only be subject to pay in cash once they actually receive their orders in real time. Shopping online clearly beats traditional shopping when discussing convenience factors. Actually, once an order reaches one thousand and above, Lazada will waive shipment fee of customers. With Cash on Delivery and Free Delivery, any local online user will be enticed to try out shopping on their mall. These two single-handedly solved the Ecommerce woes that plagued the country for the past years. Evidently, this allowed the local online users to accept online shopping as a valuable option for them.
