Growing up, we’ve learned to adopt in the past culture as well as this generation where Internet usage is pretty common and already part of our daily leaving. A lot of deals are being offered way lower than it is supposed to by group buy websites, making it harder for customers to ignore. Lazada Philippines was launched in the country last year. They are an online mall venture available in South East Asia. The Samwer brothers own this venture under there German based company Rocket Internet.

They made significant impact in the local Ecommerce industry with their offering of unconventional offline payment methods. Their payment method gave customers option on which payment they find more suiting. Credit cards and PayPal are usually the online payment method accepted by most online stores. This hampers the customers in availing the items they want since they are limited in paying online the conventional way. Local online users first introduced C.O.D. or Cash on Delivery. This payment method helps them to tap the untapped marketing in the country. It is the majority of the local consumer market in the country. Now that it has been tapped, it allowed the Ecommerce industry to further grow.
