Lazada Philippines: Be in control in your shopping

We have always wondered how we can avoid all the hardships we go thru whenever we go to traditional malls to shop. It is a good thing that we now have an alternative shopping in online shopping. Since we control the time, we can do it whenever we want. During at night, that's when they are only active and have little free time to do what they want. Usually, these are the people who work on night shift. They are usually not free when malls are open, which is a pain for their situation. They are unable to visit malls when they please unlike most people. It's only during holidays or weekends when they can visit these traditional malls.

For people who work under these weird schedules, it is really hard for them to get access on these traditional malls. It's a good thing for them that online shopping is getting popular now in the country. Most of the businesses are now being put up online. Actually, this only started last year in the Philippines. When Lazada arrived in the Philippines, other online malls were established as well. It is one of the first online malls to be established in the Philippines. They are also available in other South East Asia countries.

The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall made a splash in the local Ecommerce market compared a couple of years ago where online shopping didn't exist at all Actually, their impact on Ecommerce can't be disregarded. Actually, the competition is very low in the country so it only made sense for them to launch it here. It's more hard for them on how to tell local online users to check their lazada.com.ph website. Most of the online users are not fan of online payment that's why online users are hard to convert to customers. The local online users were just hesitant to use their credit card since it exposes their personal details. What makes it challenging is that majority of the population are not credit card owners. This hampered the growth of Ecommerce in the country. This doesn't mean that local online users are not familiar with online transactions. Since we initially see risk, we don't give online malls any benefit of the doubt.

Moreover, we just disregard online malls in general from first encounter. Online malls for us are all scams, which is sad. The issues are the reasons why Ecommerce is a challenging business in the Philippines. They finally came up with a solution to solve these issues that had derailed the growth of Ecommerce for so long. They were able to come up with Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method to their customers. They don't necessarily require their customers to pay right away only until they received their order package in real time. This is a very enticing setup for any customer as they can keep their money until they receive their order. Therefore, giving them a chance to go for other options in case their orders don’t push through.
