Lazada: Ecommerce Industry is still growing

We became fond of being connected online most of the time; if not, all the time! This significantly changed how we do our usual daily activities. We became Internet bound with our demands in getting connected online to communicate and be on top of the latest happenings. These demands are somehow being delivered through the emergence of smartphones and social medias. We are even on the point were we shop online as well. It can't be helped that online shopping is now drastically on the rise in our country. Two years ago, online shopping was in a different place, a place where people don't consider them at all. The rate in the Philippines both offline and online is off the roof in the country.

Moreover, this is the reason why many do not consider online transaction.  Initially, local online users went to top local online classified websites in the buy and sell industry. Local online classified websites pave way to the Ecommerce's arrival in the Philippines. These top local classifieds online created a marketplace community in online. Back when local online classifieds didn't exist yet, local online users were unable to buy what they want to online. For users looking to buy an item, they turn to these websites for pricing comparison. This eventually helped revolutionize on how online users behave for shopping ideas. It became a marketplace for local online users for buying and selling. Unlike Ecommerce, these are third party resellers who deal with the website visitors. Third party resellers and buyers usually do offline transactions. Customers also encounter this same kind of setup with group buying websites. They help lead the preparation of local online users for the Ecommerce industry in the Philippines.

At the time that Ecommerce websites arrived in the country, local online users were already prepared. Local online users have a lot to gain than loss. The local online users found amazing deals on group buy websites. Their offer or deals are so enticing the any local online customer will have a problem to avoid these group buy websites. Lazada Philippines was launched in the country last year. They are an online shopping mall venture launched in South East Asia. It is powered by Rocket Internet, which is owned by the Samwer brothers. This specific online mall influenced the Ecommerce industry with its various online payment methods. The payment methods being offered by them allow their customers to select whom they prefer the best for them. Online stores conventionally accept only credit card or PayPal payments. These conventional online payments restrict customers to avail what they want since most of us don't have our own credit card or PayPal account. The online payment method Cash on Delivery helped customers to avail online payment more. This single handedly allowed them to tap the untapped market in the past. In the country, it is the majority of the population. Now that it has been tapped, it allowed the Ecommerce industry to further grow.
