Lazada: A better way to pay online

When online came into the picture, it started as an information resource for everyone. The information it can give was overwhelming that it eventually pushed out Almanacs off the market. But as time went by and with the development of new technologies, it made Internet usage more sophisticated and diverse. We went to a point in the modern digital era that it was no longer just catalog platform for us to get information. Rather, it showed us that we could do more than that. For instance, we used to do shopping offline on traditional malls, which allowed Ecommerce to be born and helped us shopping online. This became a quick success for most countries. However, most people are unable to pay online in the Philippines. As a result, Ecommerce growth was really low.

We were required to provide our credit card details and personal information, which is very risky on our end. This is more troubling to countries that not familiar with online transactions. There's a chance that users who are new to online payment may struggle if they don't do it properly. This can actually end you up getting overbilled on your transaction if you made a mistake. The issue with online is that it takes more days for processing of mistaken billing. It's not actually hard. You only pay on what you availed in real time. But now that we are in the new era, other online options showed up.

In order to shop, it is no longer a requirement to waste energy and time. You only need an Internet capable device with Internet connection to shop online. To see what online mall's have to offer, you just need to go visit their website. It's very different here in the Philippines. It wasn't available a couple of years ago. Conventional online payment is not an option to most of the people. The Ecommerce industry really struggled to grow. It was struggle for Ecommerce to penetrate the low market. Website like Lazada Philippines clearly helped Ecommerce. Since they arrived in the Philippines, it made online shopping as an option to anyone. Even if you are not a credit card owner, They still allow customers to shop online on their website through Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. It's only shipment address and name that is required to be left by them for customers who opted for Cash on Delivery as their payment method. Once orders are delivered at the customer's shipment address, that's the only time they will require to be paid.

The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall first introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. online in the country. Although fast food delivery already offered Cash on Delivery before they arrived, it was the first time offered online that helped Ecommerce grow further in the country. It helped us realize the value of online shopping to us. Eventually competitors came out from nowhere after they arrived in the country. This gave us more flexibility in shopping wherein we can go online or offline.
