Internet as being available for almost a decade now, made us realize over time on what we can do whenever we are online. We all learned that using Internet is not just to get information or to communicate but eventually evolved more than that like the penetration of Ecommerce. Most of us may have probably noticed that shopping online is exponentially becoming popular in the Philippines. Surprisingly, this is a shock for most of us when we think on how it was looked down upon by most local online users. Most of the frauds and scams happen online beside offline in the Philippines. It is why transactions done online is not highly regard by most of the local online users.

Great deals were mostly found on group by websites by local online users. Their offered deal was at rock bottom price that it made local online users not to miss out on their deals. A year ago, the Lazada Online Mall was launched in the Philippines. It is only one of the online store ventures that are available across South East Asia. The Samwer brother owns this venture along with the other ventures under Rocket Internet as well.

 With Lazada's payment methods, it helped them impact the local Ecommerce in the Philippines. Customers are given numerous kind of payment methods which they finding fitting for themselves. In online, it is usually only credit card or PayPal payment is allowed by online stores. This actually hurts the potential of customer pushing through with their orders since most of them can't pay thru this conventional online payment. They first introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. to their customers.  It allowed them to tap the untapped market online in the Philippines. The majority of the markets are these customers who are unable to pay online the conventional way. It has helped Ecommerce thrive more than ever with the tapping of this huger market in the Philippines.
