When it comes to
purchasing things, the traditional way of doing things would be to go out to
the nearest shopping mall or store, ask around if they carry the item you are
looking for, go to a different store if they don't have stock available, grab
the item and fall in line at the cashier, and carry your purchase back home.
There is nothing wrong with how we buy things; although, if there was an easier
method, I would gladly like to try it. Then I was introduced to Lazada
Philippines and everything changed from the moment on.
Let's be clear;
I am not complaining with how we usually buy stuff in the mall. All I'm saying
is, if there is a better way to do it or an alternative that we might not have
tried yet, then I am welcome to try that as well. True enough, when I first
learned that you can buy things off the internet, I was excited to try it.
However, I didn't know where to go or what to do so I had to crawl my way
around.
My first
encounter with online stores was through Facebook pages that was selling some
baby clothes. Since I needed to buy one and wanted an excuse to try out buying
off the net, I decided to give it a go. The experience itself was surprising; I
didn't have to get off my chair—almost, since I had to go to the bank to pay
for my purchase but most of the transaction happened online. A few days later
the item came and I was sold with the idea of buying things over the internet.
This had to be the perfect solution for people like me who had no time to
spare; I didn't have to spend too much time out to buy one item. It couldn't
get any better than this.
Then I found the
Lazada Philippines website and I was surprised that things got even better!
Right off the bat, the first thing I noticed was their website. It had that
Amazon look and feel and I knew this was different compared to the Facebook
pages that I bought from before. I was asked to log-in my details and from
there I could see my orders and items. There was a shopping cart of sorts where
I can put the things that I want to buy before paying for them. To add things
to the cart, I simply had to navigate to the item that I was looking for and
add it to my cart. Once done "shopping," I simply had to check out
the things I bought and do the payment transaction. I can even use my credit
card! How about that for easy shopping!
By far, this has
been the best shopping experience I've had. At the Philippines Online Shopping
Mall, there is no travel time, no waiting in line, and no distractions. I
didn't have to leave home or get off my chair and I can do it at the comfort of
my home. This truly was the best way of buying things.
