I’ve been shopping online for quite a while now and I used
to buy from online stores based from other countries. What I like about them is
they offer products or items that is not available in the Philippines. Back
then; you need to visit the country itself if you want to buy something that is
only available in their country. Good thing that online evolved on a business
perspective that allows an online business to reach out to a worldwide
audience. I’ve seen a lot of online stores and one thing I can say is that over
the years online stores became more intuitive and media oriented. There are
even online stores that offer 360 view of a product they are selling.
Personally, it gives me the nearest physical online
presentation since you can see every curve and zoom them as you please.
However, not all of them have successfully mixed a good balance of online
shopping mall interface to their customers. Some of them have fully relied on
media presentation that it hurt the website performance speed. Although a
website maybe very attractive to customers but if it gives them a harder time
of loading it, chances are they will leave the website without a second
thought. As we all know, a lot of online stores are out there. Not only
International based websites but also local based online stores in the
Philippines. Actually, local online stores just started to multiply just last
year. I believe it started when website like Lazada online shopping mall was
launched in the country. Since their arrival, a lot of local business went
online to share the Ecommerce market that is obviously growing in the country.
What I truly appreciate about Lazada’s website is their
well-balanced online store performance and appeal to their visitors. Despite
having one of the biggest selection among local online stores, their website
loads much faster than anticipated. It’s only expected to have them more media
files than other online stores since they have more products being offered on
the lazada.com.ph website. Besides the important website speed factor, their
website is very user friendly and easy to understand. Their website is not
cluttered like other online stores that you don’t get to understand on first
visit. In my own opinion, any first time visitor won’t have a hard time
figuring out how to navigate their website. This also includes
non-Internet-savvy users. I even like how they allowed their customers to easily
and quickly view product details without even leaving the page you are
visiting. if a simple product detail requires customers to click into the next
page which takes time for webpage loading and requires you to go back and get
lost on the last product you are eyeing, this will make customers very annoyed
in browsing the website. As an online store, it is a priority to make sure that
customers get the best possible website experience in navigating their website.
How can they even sell if browsing gives their customers a hard time already,
right?
Lazada PH TVC
I agree. Lazada has a cleaner user-friendly web layout. I think other local online sites are the same except for hallohallo mall :/
