Bad Online Shopping Experience is now a Thing of the Past with Lazada Philippines


I used to think that finding reliable online shopping sites is hard given the many number of times I have been duped and misled when buying online. I have yet to experience not getting the items I paid for but I seem to have a knack for finding the ones that always give me substandard and totally misrepresented products and bad service. You would think it wouldn’t be such a hassle since I can always return or have the item exchanged but some won’t allow exchanges claiming there is nothing wrong with the product, some even have the guts to blame my screen’s resolution for the huge difference of the product from the photos, while some simply employ a No Return, No Exchange policy. I was all but ready to give up on finding a trustworthy online shopping site when a friend introduced me to Lazada Online Mall.

It was truly a lucky day for me when I learned about this online store. While I still had my reservations then, I kind of felt that with this site, my days of unsatisfactory online shopping experience is over. A quick tour of the site showed so much promise. They have original items straight from manufacturers and official distributors with some that even include a two-year warranty and they carry brands we’re very much familiar with a few quirky ones thrown into the mix for variety. With that alone, you will know you’re in for a real treat. But like I said, I still had my reservations because the products might be of excellent quality but if the service is crap, it can still equate to a bad shopping experience.

Their customer service is one for the books. They have a team of professionals dedicated to answer all concerns about the site, policies, and products that are available all week long and even on holidays. They also offer the much talked about 7-Day return policy which, in anutshell, offers customers the chance to return or exchange a product for whatever reason with no questions asked. There are a few guidelines to follow if you find yourself on the receiving end of an unsatisfactory or defective product but the good news is should you send back an item that is defective, you will be reimbursed the return shipping fee. 
When I finally gave in and made my first purchase from the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall, I was surprised how detailed their product descriptions are. The dimensions, colors available, functions and what not are in the products page. You can even add product reviews if you want to. The pictures don’t appear to be misleading and I say this because I’ve seen some of the items in the mall already. I paid via debit card and expected to receive the item within 10 business days for I live in Rizal but lo and behold, I got the item on the 4th day of waiting. I eagerly ripped off the nice packaging to see if the swimsuit I bought from a relatively new local brand they stock looked as good as it did on the picture. Suffice to say, I have finally found the online store that won’t mislead me.
