Lazada: Expectations should be met online

When going to a certain place, we sometimes analyze and set certain expectations.
Let’s say you are going out of town. Usually, you weigh in what is in store for you if you visit a specific place or location. The more meaningful and satisfying the experience you’ll have, the more you have patience with your travel time. It’s only natural for us to measure our efforts against pleasure.

However, there’s still limitation on your patience if the travel time doesn’t make sense to you. It goes the same for any online user. We expect certain standards from our surfing experience such as having high Internet speed and a fast processing computer. But not all of the satisfaction comes from them. Speaking of surfing, which I admit is an old term for online browsing, one of the main purposes we connect online is to visit various websites.

As for websites, each website is displayed or presented in a different way depending on their niche. I remember back in the days where websites are just plain texts. Just full in text information that is just appealing for people who are required to research or bookworms. Internet was actually not widely used during their early days. I think it started to kick off when websites became more interactive and appealing. Thanks for the help of media files and design, Internet evidently got an appeal to almost everyone.

Nowadays, websites are becoming more sophisticated that it becomes part of our lifestyle from a form of information to communication to business. Time will only tell on how websites and Internet can evolve further. Speaking of lifestyle, what I like about connecting online is I can shop from my home. All I need is my computer and online access. I usually buy at Lazada Online mall. What I like about them is that they have a fair balance of speed and interface. They have one of the user-friendliest online stores I’ve ever accessed. I’m pretty confident to say that any new user of their website won’t have a hard time to get familiar on how to navigate their online store. Compared to their competitors here in the Philippines, despite having an image loaded website they still manage to have it optimized. It still managed to load decently even if I’m using a normal DSL line. I got no hassles in using their website. They even have this “Quick View” button that allows you to view their product details in a flash. No need to go to another webpage just to see what the product is about. You can even mouse over on the image and it will automatically show you fine up close shot of the product they are selling. It’s almost right in front of you. But my favorite among their website features is their easy to use shopping cart. From their shopping cart you can easily add and remove any items you decide not to purchase. So if you have not made up your mind yet between two items. You can just add as much as you want as you browse their website and just decide if you want to proceed to check out. That’s how easy to shop at Lazada.

Lazada: Reliable Cash on Delivery

To rely on someone or something would only mean that trust exist between two entities. Take for example you are loaded with work and you got not time for your other task, in order to finish it all you will need an extra hand. This is where having a trust on a reliable person comes to the picture. You wouldn’t shred off some of your task to person your unsure if he/she can deliver. It’s always some you can rely on. This is similar to shopping. It’s only normal for a consumer to check the brand quality and pricing of what they want to buy. Although, to have a good price and outstanding brands, makes or breaks a transaction. It also involves other aspects as well. Does it come with warranty and return clause? Is the store or person you are buying from reliable? These are most of the questions we ask ourselves before further proceed in something. The same goes when we talk to other people. Imagine if you have personal and confidential information that you needed to let out in order think deep to solve the problem. You wouldn’t expose that information to a person you barely know. It’s always the people you trust.

A perfect example where reliability plays a big part is in online shopping. As we are all aware, online shopping took off in the country just last year. However, as it was starting to rise in Ecommerce, it also went through adjustments and improvements. There are a lot of online stores that can be found nowadays online. It’s actually good that we have options for a change. It’s always a good thing to have flexibility. It helps you decide more clearly and compare each one of them. To me, only one website made a significant impact in the online shopping mall industry. Lazada just started here in the Philippines last year. They never looked back since April of 2012. The good thing about this website is that they huge selections that is close to what a department store or mall has to offer to their customers.

Since the arrival of “Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall” in the country, online shopping grew significantly. They are only one of the few online shopping malls that offer Cash on Delivery as an alternative online payment method. This allowed anyone to order from their website and pay it offline instead. By doing this, it allowed anyone to become online customers regardless if they are capable to pay the conventional way, which is via credit card or Paypal account. But what makes them a reliable online store compared to others is the option to have the advantage over online stores, which is a rare setup. It also involves them not having to pay in advance and keep their money in their pocket. They are required to pay only after their orders are delivered at their very homes. A full comfortable online shopping experience it is.

Lazada: An idea that paved way for online shopping

Mode of payment limitations in online have plagued the country for so long. The inability to pay online despite having cash in the pocket is something doesn’t make any sense at all in my own opinion. Why stop sales if the customer wants to buy from you? Isn’t it a bit ironic to think that the sellers can only sell their items on a selected small market even if they want it and have the cash to actually buy? Online shopping is a more convenient way to shop. They may give great convenience, save time and energy. However, they have some requirements that are required online but won’t matter offline, it goes the other way around as well. Lazada, an online shopping mall that was just launched last year across South East Asia, went in our country and took the online landscape by storm. It’s safe to assume that everyone has already seen their ads at one point. This may show up on Facebook or Google.

The good thing about Lazada is that they give flexibility to their customers. They offer guarantees and actually provide manufacturer warranty to what they may be selling. This is to ensure that their customers can get the best deal out of Lazada. Customers won’t need to worry about what they are buying from them. They offer the exact product warranty coverage that customers can get from a typical offline stores in malls. It’s a good thing that they regularly offer promos and discounts unlike on traditional malls, which only offers it during occasional business, events or celebrations. But among their great offer details, the best offer they can give to their customers is their very flexible payment method options. Beside the conventional payment methods, namely credit cards and Paypal account, they also introduced the innovative Cash on Delivery payment method. This allows anyone to become Lazada customers regardless of their online payment capabilities and limitations. All they need to do is just visit online and order anything from their website without even having to worry about paying in advance thru the very common credit card payment methods. All they need to do after figuring out what to buy from the website is leave their shipment address and recipient name. They will deliver their order within 2-5 days. Customers are only required to pay in cash once their orders arrived in their homes.

This makes online shopping a very convenient alternative to traditional shopping. Not to mention, Lazada is willing to waive shipment fees as long as the order transaction is above one thousand pesos. Combining Cash on Delivery with Free Delivery availability makes online shopping an easier alternative option for anyone. After all, these two actually single handedly solved the Ecommerce woes that plagued the country for the past few years. Nowadays, Filipinos are now open to online shopping. It’s truly a great job for Lazada to be able to make a stand in Ecommerce and make a meaningful impact in the Ecommerce industry.

LazadaPH: Soaring high more than ever

The more technology evolved for the past few years, the higher expectations and standards were raised. With the incorporation of Internet with technology, it made our lives much easier and faster. Besides the usage of cellphones that is now considered part of consumer goods and no longer just a luxury, a good example of technology and Internet combination evolution are websites. Before, we were used to seeing them just heavy on text information. Internet was just simply a huge library for anyone to access. Nowadays, it more complicated and diverse than that, we use them as a platform to communicate all over the world. It has also become a venue to conduct online businesses.

A good example of an online business in our country is Lazada, an online shopping mall. They were just launched last year. Before they arrived last year, online shopping was not a common thing for Filipinos. Not everyone is capable of conducting online transactions since most of us aren’t credit card holders or Paypal account owners. Both of these mentioned payment method where the conventional payment option for online customers. It’s pretty clear that when they launched the website here in the Philippines, they were set to extend or increase their market audience coverage. So what they did is they offered an alternative payment method that actually allows their customers to buy online at the lazada.com.ph website and have them pay in cash instead. Customers can just order anything online that is on their website and just leave the shipping address and recipient name of the package. No need to pay up front which the conventional payment setup of typical online stores. This was necessary for them in order to make sure that they can maximize their profit as compared to if they just relied on the small ratio of customers that can pay online conventionally.

But what makes them stand out among their competitors is their overall service to ensure that their customers will be getting their deserved online shopping experience. What makes them stand out among competitors is that they have a very user friendly website that makes shopping much easier and convenient. Typically, online stores rely images or other media formats to ensure that they can bring the closest physical presentation of their product online. However, by having a medial loaded website makes it harder to load for regular Internet users with average Internet speed. This can actually affect sales and may lead customers on not pursuing their shopping on a website. But with Lazada, they managed to pull off a well balance website that made the user experience acceptable by customers. Some may still encounter slow website load speed, but not to the point that it will annoy them which is great for both parties. In my own opinion, they offer one of the best online shopping experience both from a website usage and service perspective. Time will only tell what awaits this very exciting store that is on the pace to even rise further on success.

LazadaPH: Easy Shopping like no other local online store

So how come online shopping was late to arrive in the country? Late – as in why it only just started to be an alternative shopping destination for Filipinos this past few years when compared to other countries where they have already been doing this since the early to mid 2000s. It’s no secret to us that we have high rate or online scams and frauds in the country. I’m not sure if it’s because we are living on a third world country or simply because it is just a general assumption that we got used to hear. Regardless, the point here is that online shopping was never highly considered an option for us. One point is that we are a country that is dominated by Filipinos who are not credit card holders or Paypal account user.

Therefore, for an online shopping business perspective, we are the least country that should be invested on. This makes you wonder how come online shopping made an impact in the country. I think this online shopping bonanza happened when one of the biggest online shopping malls in South East Asia, Lazada, was launched in our country as well besides our neighbor countries Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Vietnam.  They are under the umbrella of Rocket Internet, which is known for launching various online businesses from different regions all over the world.  Since then, a lot of online shopping malls were launched as well by local business owners.

Now that we have a lot of online shopping malls competing for our attention. We can now be picky and select which one is the best online store that can satisfy our personal standards from an online store. Let’s not forget that the reason why the local Internet users got started is when Lazada introduced a unique selling point for their customers. It’s actually focused on customer flexibility on how they want to pay their orders from them. Cash on Delivery alternative payment method allows any customer to order from their website without ever giving their credit card details, but the most special thing about this payment method is that customers don’t need to pay in advance before their orders shipped out to be delivered in their very homes. This makes online shopping easy for anyone. No need to worry about getting scammed since you don’t need to pay in advance. You only pay as your orders arrived at your home. No need to worry about not having the option to pay online in conventional manner.  No credit card or Paypal account? This is the perfect fit for people like us who hate debts. Customers can just direct go to the lazada.com.ph website and browse for any items they like. Next thing they need to do is just provide their shipment address and recipient name of their order. That’s it! You can just sit back and relax. Once your order package arrives at your home, you can pay in cash as it is handed over to you. It’s that easy!
